Pets Travel Scheme & Early Release:-

The Pets Travel Scheme (PETS) allows Dog & cats to travel freely into the UK from certain countries without the need for quarantine, providing that they meet the requirements.

Pets must be: 1st: Micro-chipped for identification purposes. 2nd: Vaccinated against Rabies. 3rd: A blood sample should be taken and tested at an approved laboratory.

6 months after the blood sample was taken (assuming it’s a positive result) your pet can enter the UK without the need for quarantine on an approved route.

4th: Between 24-48 hours before entering the UK pets must be treated for Ticks & Tapeworms.

Early Release

We offer the Early Release Scheme here at Little Creek Quarantine for pets requiring a stay as little as 4 days to pets with us for 5 months.

If you have all the work done for the PETS scheme but can not wait 6 months after blood testing or you can not find approved routes into the UK? We can help!

Your pets will be licensed into the quarantine kennels, the microchip number and all PETS paperwork will be checked by our Veterinary Superintendent and providing the paperwork is correct he will apply to DEFRA for early release from quarantine.
